CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

Urging a home field advantage in the Major League Baseball league championship series.

Whereas America's free enterprise system is based on the idea that those who succeed should reap benefits in direct proportion to their level of success;

Whereas rewarding excellence and creating incentives for success, hard work, and fair play are the hallmarks of Major League Baseball ;

Whereas, under the current Major League Baseball playoff system, a team with the best record in its league may be penalized by not having a home field advantage; and

Whereas baseball is the only major American professional team sport where a team with the poorer record may have the home field advantage: Now, therefore, be it
